Youth Projects
Projects to be funded to enhance current youth provision and generate much needed additional activities for them. There is little for teenagers in Royston compared with what they see available elsewhere. With no obvious social or entertainment activities, it is easy to understand the tendency to engage in mischief. We intend to introduce projects that will help combat anti-social behaviour and offer a sense of place that “reattaches” minors to the rest of the population. We have allocated £9K each year towards these projects but will seek further grant aid to increase the overall spend and hence the scale of results and impact
